and historical m&eacute;diterranean house, that are contributing to the charm of town center, and inhabitants social activities.<p>The thematical workshop that took place in Ghardaia from the last 23 to 25 november, was focused on mehtods and preservation practice actually used in the EU and in the partners mediterranean country, by taking into consideration the regular maintenance aspects, and the more important work, aimed to adapt the ancient house to modern standards.<br />The main goal of the workshop is to formulate recommandations for the authorities in charge of the heritage, and the This site is located on the island of Muharraq. It posses a material and immaterial heritage surrounding cultured pearl and its exploitation. This heritage is the object of the filing procedure. The project is named : &quot;The Pearling pathway&quot;.</p><p>More specifically, this delegation was travelling through Provence in order to meet our structure and work on a cooperation project in the matter of building heritage rehabilitation in Muharraq (technical assistance and training course).</p><p>During these 4 days, l&#39;Ecole d&#39;Avignon was able to show its technical competencies through the example of training building site and expertise work.</p><p>L&#39;Ecole d&#39;Avignon also provided a heritage site visit program, and meetings with regional actors of heritage saving.</p><p>We will quote by way of illustration :<br />- the savec area in Avignon (House of Heritage)<br />- The Popes Palace in Avignon (General conservation)<br />- Arles and its Roman and antique heritage (City of Arles, and direction of Heritage)<br />- the Laboratory of Studies and Research on Materials in Arles<br />- the Culture and Heritage Industries Cluster in Arles<br />- the Pont du Gard (general direction)<br />- the arena of N&icirc;mes (general direction)</p><p>This program has been conceive as a tool to help in filing process held by the Bahraini delegation. In this spirit, it seemed necessary to contribute to the structuration of the cultural sector in this region, same for the renewal of its place in the action perspective of the europeans culturals agents, and french actors in particular.<br />In this context, the Relais wanted the professionals of this sector to meet in order to offer them a reflexion space about the development of a cooperation.</p><p>These three days gathered more than twenty participants, cultural actors from the Balkans, but also from France, Belgium, Germany and Turkey. It leads partnership projects involving those actors. It has obtained the PRIDES (P&ocirc;le R&eacute;gional d&#39;Innovation et de D&eacute;veloppement Economique Solidaire) seal of approval, the 30th march 2007.</p><p>The goal of the Cluster is to favors the development of innovating products and services, in accordance with the needs of the territories involved in projects regarding heritage and culture.</p><p>It is the only Cluster in Europe focused on Culture and Heritage.</p><p>It offers to its members actions of animations and structuration for their heritage and cultural industry, but also an help for the conception of innovating industrials projects, likely to respond to R&amp;D projects from the European Union, the State or the region Provence-Alpes-C&ocirc;te d&#39;Azur.</p><p>Partner of the Culture and Heritage Industries Cluster, l&#39;Ecole d&#39;Avignon unveiled this information morning with a presentation of its structure.
