Streets and squares of the ancient towncenter are traditionnally made of raw stone, cobblestone or paving. Each place has the particularity of the nearest deposit : pebble, nubble stone, calcareous pavement, porphyry or granite...
The panels of materials, modules, layout plan is very large and constitute an unequalled heritage. Yet in the villages, outlying area, these works didn't experience any kind of maintenance during decades, showing an image of discomfort and archaism.
Today the look changed. We appreciate these pavements, their aesthetics, their adaptation to the topography, their layout techniques that allows easy repairement, their beautiful patina through time. Everywhere we restore, re-establish calades, looking to find again the skills of the paver.
