Exhibition " Living in the Mediterraenan area" in Arles

The exhibition "Living in the Mediterraenan area", designed by l'Ecole d'Avignon will be displayed in the Chapelle des Trinitaires, rue de la République in Arles, from the 12 march to the 12 june (free access, from tuesday to saturday, from 10h to 12h30 and 14h to 18h30).

To go with this exhibition, we offer, with the participation of the heritage department of the city, the following events :

- Traditionnal Architecture in the Mediterranean area : lecture by René GUERIN, architect for l'Ecole d'Avignon and involved in heritage rehabilitation.
Wednesday 24th march at 18h, honour room of the city hall.

- Arles guided tour, with René Sette, caladeur and dry stone craftman, trainer for l'Ecole d'Avignon and writer of two books about these expertise, and with Jean-Marc Bernard, responsible of the saved area of the old Arles.
Saturday 8th may at 14h30, booking at 04 90 49 38 20 (until the day before, 17h)

- "Le Chant de la pierre" : musical piece with René Sette. A capella solo : regionals songs.
Saturday 8th may at 17h30, chapelle des Trinitaires (free access).

- Walk through the city, to discover facades and decors, with Isabelle Rolet, heritage decor painter, trainer for l'Ecole d'Avignon and specialist of lime decors.
Saturday 29th and sunday 30th may at 10h, booking at 04 90 49 38 20 (before friday 28th may, 17h).

- Initiation workshop to lime painting, with Isabelle Rolet.
Saturday 29th and sunday 30th may at 14h, booking at 04 90 49 38 20 (before friday 28th may, 17h).
