The last 8, 9 and 10th july, l'Ecole d'Avignon welcomed the Relais Culture Europe, with a workshop about : Building a road map for the reinforcement of Balkan/EU/French cultural cooperation.

Ressource center on Europe and culture, and National Contact Point for the Culture program (2007-2013), the Relais Culture Europe informs french and europeans culturals and artistics actors about :
- the problematics and issue regarding Europe and culture,
- the objectives, politics and community programs,
- their translations in terms of strategies, practicality and projects.
It seeks a global objectif to europeanize the practice of french cultural actors, and the reinforcement of cultural cooperation.

In the perspective of an adhesion to the European Union from southern-east countries (the Balkans regions), the Relais Culture Europe wants to develop links and cooperation with those countries. In this spirit, it seemed necessary to contribute to the structuration of the cultural sector in this region, same for the renewal of its place in the action perspective of the europeans culturals agents, and french actors in particular.
In this context, the Relais wanted the professionals of this sector to meet in order to offer them a reflexion space about the development of a cooperation.

These three days gathered more than twenty participants, cultural actors from the Balkans, but also from France, Belgium, Germany and Turkey. They all speaked about their experience and worked on a roadsheet of cultural cooperation for the 2 to 3 years to come.
