The Culture and Heritage Industries Cluster, in l'Ecole d'Avignon
This meeting had two objectives :
- to introduce the Cluster to the various economics actors of Vaucluse with activity related to the heritage and culture domain,
- to widen its members network.
Based in Arles, the Culture and Heritage Industries Cluster gather industrials, research and teaching actors related to culture and heritage. It leads partnership projects involving those actors. It has obtained the PRIDES (Pôle Régional d'Innovation et de Développement Economique Solidaire) seal of approval, the 30th march 2007.
The goal of the Cluster is to favors the development of innovating products and services, in accordance with the needs of the territories involved in projects regarding heritage and culture.
It is the only Cluster in Europe focused on Culture and Heritage.
It offers to its members actions of animations and structuration for their heritage and cultural industry, but also an help for the conception of innovating industrials projects, likely to respond to R&D projects from the European Union, the State or the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
Partner of the Culture and Heritage Industries Cluster, l'Ecole d'Avignon unveiled this information morning with a presentation of its structure. Gilles Martinet (President of the Cluster) and Philippe Hurdebourcq (Director of the Cluster), then presented the Cluster and responded to the many questions of the participants.
