Training courses at the Ecole d'Avignon

The Ecole d'Avignon is located in the historic "Hôtel du Roi René" in the center of Avignon in Provence. Built starting in the 14th century, this magnificent palace became the property of the Duke of Anjou from 1476 to 1480.

The wealth of the architecture and decorations in this building give witness to its many uses: Cardinal's palace at the time of the Popes in Avignon (14th c.), palace of King René of Provence, convent from the 17th century to the French Revolution, and finally printer's shop.

It is in this unique place that the Ecole d'Avignon's thematic courses take place, either in the form of long-term fundamental training, or short courses in advanced technique.
