Preservation of architectural heritage

The Ecole d'Avignon uses three approaches to the world of architectural heritage:

• craftspeople, whether they be professionals or artists
• historic places - their architectures and ensembles
• training, privileged tool for the transmittal of skills
  and know-how

 
Architectural heritage can be characterized by its forms, materials and techniques. Depending on its condition, it requires maintenance, repair, reinforcement, restoration, or replacement.

Within the different types of existing structures, the Ecole d'Avignon takes part on projects involving a great variety of construction.
