The goal of this course is an introduction to several different methods, such as gilding with leaf or powder, based on water or mordant, and patinas which give the work an authentic appearance.
A strong knowledge of the different levels of technical difficulty will help you choose the right solution to achieve the best results.

The subtle art of gilding requires a solid knowledge of materials, tools, and different methods.
The study of written materials, the preparation of surfaces, the implementation of the techniques of gilding and metallic leaf, both flat and in relief, will allow you to create an individual panel with incised decorations, relief, decorations with gold leaf and powder under glass - sgraffito effects and colored varnish - finishes and aging patin.
