Activities in Europe

In Europe, the Ecole d'Avignon has committed itself to a number of goals.

The problems posed by the rehabilitation of architectural heritage are extremely complicated in European countries. The Ecole d'Avignon is part of the "European Foundation of Heritage Professions," network created by the European Council, and participates in exchanges of experience and of know-how.

The Ecole d'Avignon undertakes missions of study and aid in view of the creation of similar centers in European countries.

To enable these exchanges, the Ecole d'Avignon organizes, leads or participates in activities within the framework of programs sponsored by the European Commission. These include a number of Euro-Mediterranean programs, MEDA, EUROMED HERITAGE with CORPUS, SALAMBÔ and the heritage course of the Maghreb.
